Tenants
Your Role in Preserving the Port’s Natural Resources

At Port Canaveral, one of our most important tasks is keeping our environment healthy to support the well-being and interests of groups as diverse as the cruise and cargo industries, our tenant businesses, local residents and Florida’s special plant and animal populations. The commitment of the Canaveral Port Authority (CPA) to this task has resulted in a number of targeted environmental initiatives, but we can’t do this job alone. We need the help of our tenants, visitors and the local community.

We’ve developed the “Procedures and Prohibitions for the Environmental Protection of the Water, Land and Air of Port Canaveral, Florida” to outline the responsibilities we all share in protecting our water and air quality, preserving our natural resources and protecting the public health. Please join us in these efforts by clicking the links below for summaries of the major issues:

- Water & Air Quality
- Garbage /Hazardous Materials Disposal
- Sediment & Erosion Control
- Imperiled Species and Their Habitats
